Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown

Bandai Namco‘s Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown has launched to the sky last January 17th in Japan and January 18th worldwide. In just one month, this combat flight action video game has achieved a huge milestone in the Asia Pacific alone.

Bandai Namco Southeast Asia has announced that the Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown has sold 500,000 units in Asia in one month since release in January. It was announced at the official Bandai Namco SEA’s Twitter account. In other regions, there’s no official announcement in terms of sales. In the Media Create sales numbers chart last week, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown had sold 231,659 in Japan for PlayStation 4. Meanwhile, this is also the biggest UK launch in the franchise history. Salute to all pilots who helped this game achieved this huge milestone.

For the overview, the game sets in 2019 when an opposition between the Osean Federation and the Kingdom of Erusea began. This is also known as the Second Usuean Continental War. Trigger, a member of the Osean Air Defense Force, fights against the Erusea’s unmanned drones. Trigger starts out as a member of Osea’s Mage Squadron. However, he is accused of murdering the former president as he’s sent to Osea’s Spare Squadron. Osea’s Spare Squadron is a penal military unit for atonement.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is now available worldwide. It was released last January 18 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
